The staff was fabulous. I was concerned because my last stay at Waukesha was terrible. However, the staff, and doctor were great this time.

I went in for a post operative appointment with Dr. Bartl and was quite concerned with the pain after 6 weeks after having my surgery. I met with Melissa her nurse first who is top notch always and then I met with Dr. Bartl who patiently listened to each one of my concerns and addressed each one. I went from very anxious to feeling very confident of where I was in the healing process. I left with a treatment plan that was understandable and comfortable with what I needed to do to progress in the healing process. Thank you very much Melissa and Dr Bartl for your great personal care of me!!

My experience with Dr Bartl was extremely positive and informative. I felt confident in her knowledge and recommended approach for work on my lower spine. She explained my condition thoroughly and consistently checked for any questions I may have had during our discussion. Unfortunately, when she explained the extent of my damage and showed me a model of the metal that would be needed for my spine, the reality hit me hard after over a year of other surgeries related to the injury that contributed to my back issues...my blood pressure dropped and I ended up lying on the floor nearly passing out (nice carpet, I must say :)). I was terribly embarrassed, but she made me feel as though there was nothing to worry about and let me take the time I needed to recover before we continued with the appointment. Her compassion and sense of calm reinforced my sense of ease in her approach. I look forward to working with her through this next phase in getting back to my active lifestyle.

I needed emergency spinal surgery and when I heard that Lynn Bartl was able to perform that surgery I was so happy and relieved. Her Father did brain surgery on my wife many years ago and his daughter Lynn did further follow-up brain surgery on her a few years back. Both of these operations were done with very little to no after effects on my wife, so I approached this spinal operation with the confidence that I would have if I were to go to a dentist for a teeth cleaning. I was not disappointed, as the operation came thru with results that could not have been any better. I am well on my way to complete recovery today and I would highly recommend Lynn Bartl for anyone contemplating brain or spinal surgery.

WE were treated very friendly and respectfully in the discussion. AS much as could be explained at this point was thoroughly covered. Time was given for any questions. Dr. Bartle was helpful in going over details from my MRI, what was to be expected in the cyberknife treatment and how it related to the rest of my treatment. Even though no treatment was given yet, I had confidence in the process and facility.

I have spinal degeneration including compression fractures, bulging discs and stenosis. The back brace she recommend is helping some but it is uncomfortable. Dr. Bartl said I can start to wean myself off of it. I do understand my situation is difficult. Dr. Bartl has done a great job explaining things to me.

My visit with Dr. Bartl was great. The staff was very helpful. I was checked in right away and the wait time was very minimal. Dr. Bartl went over my MRI results and explained everything to me. I have a greater understanding of what is going on with me and I look forward to having Dr. Bartl help me get back on track.

I saw Dr. Bartl for what I thought would only be a consultation. I was NOT going to have surgery on my back. I liked Dr. Bartl immediately. She was recommended by two other physicians. She was very clear in discussing my back issues and solutions. I really trust her. I will be having a laminectomy on 9/23/15.

I previously completed a survey for my spinal operation so assume this is for the followup office visit that I did on the above date. Everything went just fine and Dr. Bartl seemed pleased with my progress. The staff was excellent as usual and Dr. Bartl seemed to be in very good spirits. I do like her as my neurosurgeon and could not have had a better doctor.

Dr. Bartl put my mind at ease. I thought the tingling in my hands was from some problem in my spine. ( I have spinal stenosis) She diagnosed carpal tunnel. I was really glad to hear that! As far as the other staff, Dr. Bartl has a well run office. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always feel as if I'm in good hands when there.
