First office appointment with Dr Bartl to discuss arm and leg tingling and numbness. Dr Bartl listened to what i had to say and was very informative as to my diagnosis/treatment. Waiting for MRI from Florida before any decision on treatment. Her assistant Melissa was very helpful in getting records from Florida and making me feel like mattered. Overall experience with Dr Bartl and Melissa gave me confidence i made the decision in coming here.

My consultation went very well. I brought my husband and son with me. Our son is a Chiropractor so with his knowledge of the spine, his input was important to me. Dr, Bartl gave us a thorough walk thru with the X-rays. Her explanation answered our questions. She told me what to expect from surgery and what she could not change. The decision is mine to make as to what my next step will be.

Operation was a total success so far at 80 percent of the pain I had prior to surgery is gone and the pain i'm still having I believe is surgical related. I am very happy with Dr Bartl results of her surgical expertise and those who assisted her.

I have known Dr. Bartl now since Nov. 2004. I had one spinal fusion in Jan. 2005, and one this past April 15th, 2014. I have nothing greater to say about her. A very caring doctor, great bedside manner, and knowing the type of person that she is, she WOULD NOT NEGLECT HER PATIENTS DELIBERATELY. But on the other hand, is her medical assistant. Excuse me, but this is the rudest assistant around. I read what someone else wrote about her, and it is very true. She has NO MEDICAL LICENSE in the state of Wisconsin, but yet she gives you her opinion of what is wrong with you, when I asked to speak to Dr. Bartl, on many occasions I was never called. In July of 2014, I started to totally get exhausted, (fatigued), and had pain in my lower back, 2" lower than my fusion surgery. So I knew something else was wrong here. Melissa, gave me her opinion, and said that "I WAS DOING TOO MUCH!" Now as I said I had fusion in Jan., 2005. So I am very well versed in what is too much, and what I should expect from back surgery. Only people, that have had back problems, and/or surgery know what to expect. To make a very long story short, I finally got a hole of Dr. Bartl, through one of her associates, in Dec. 2014. I got an appointment, through one of the other assistants. I saw Dr. Bartl, on Dec. 30th., 2014. I had x-rays the next day, which turned out to show nothing wrong. But Dr. Bartl suggested, and set it up, for me to see, "ADVANCED PAIN MANGEMENT". I saw them in West Bend, on Jan. 19th. 2015. Well the Dr. there new right away, on what the problem is. I never heard of it before. It is "Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction". the joint is the problem. I am having a procedure tomorrow, Feb. 13th., 2015, to inject a numbing substance into the Sacroiliac Joint. It is supposed to eliminate the pain. If not, after a certain amount of injections, I will have to have fusion on that. So back to Melissa. She has absolutely no business doing her job at all. I called on Monday, Feb. 9th.this week, to see if Dr. Bartl, could maybe give me one more prescription of oxycodone. I am not addicted to this drug, it's just that after over 15 years of taking only 5MG of oxycodone, it is the only medication that really works on me, for my back pain. Here it is, Thursday night, Feb. 12th., 2015, and I HAVE AGAIN BECAUSE, I KNOW IT IS MELISSA, diagnosing me, that I have not heard anything back AT ALL! Hate is a very strong word! But I really hate this Melissa. End of story. Plus I am not afraid of giving out my name. I am tired of this young lady.

Dr. Bartl is an excellent Dr. went in because I was having trouble with my sciatic nerve after having surgery last year. She suggested trying things that were not invasive first and running some tests. Also Melissa her assistant is always very nice and helpful.

Dr Bartl was very helpful explaining clearly my condition and recommended tests and future treatment options. I never felt rushed and always felt like she was giving me her undivided attention.

I appreciated doctors respect for my pain and overall experience with my neck. I trust Dr. Bartl's opinions and am glad we have a plan for my neck. I also appreciated her feedback concerning my granddaughter and I feel better prepared for when we meet with Children's Hospital's Neurology Dept. in January 2015. Thank you.

This was a recheck after my back surgery on October 15th and consult on cervical problems, was very happy with the speed and efficiency of the visit, attention and explanation in terms that I understood, and the options available to me to choose as far as dealing with the cervical problem.

I MET WITH DR. BARTL BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SOME ACUTE PAIN IN THE SAME AREA THAT PRECEDED SURGERY SHE PERFORMED AT THE C6 TWO YEARS AGO. I AM COMPLETELY CONFIDENT IN HER ASSESSMENT AND COMFORTABLE WITH THE PLAN SHE PUT FORTH. I AM THANKFUL TO HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN REFERRED TO DR. BARTL 2 YEARS AGO AND APPRECIATE HER EXPERTISE, PROFESSIONALISM, AND THE KINDNESS AND CARE SHE HAS EXTENDED ME. SHE IS TOP RATE.
