Appointment was to describe and inform me of what to expect from the surgery she will preformed on the 15th of Oct. Was satisfied with the info and description of what I have to look forward to and what my restriction will be all question were answered. Feel very good about what I'm facing.

I was highly disappointed with Dr. Bartl. I found her extremely cold and arrogant. She made me feel like I was wasting her time. My case may be small compared to others..but I have been dealing with pain for over 6 years...so this is considerable to me. They make you send in all your previous history...I'm not sure why she even saw me, she made it abundtly clear that she really didn't care about me or my case as she was getting closer to the door. I was told that my herniation and nerve pain was not "life threating", gee, thanks for the info doc. Dr. Bartl should realize that people are coming to her because we are NOT neurologist!! Any questions I asked she made me feel stupid, really? Isn't this your job? What a waste of money.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I feel like my follow up appointments were pointless. Dr. Bartl was demeaning and insensitive during the post-operative visits. She responded in an indignant manner when I asked questions instead of remembering that I AM NOT A NEUROSURGEON. I am a patient who had never had spinal issues let alone spinal surgery until 2 wks prior to my first visit with her. I wish I had never had surgery. I'm looking for a new neurosurgeon to follow up with.
