2. Consider Working With A Personal Trainer

If you're fairly new to exercising, hiring a personal trainer for a session or two is a great investment. A good personal trainer will understand your fitness goals, and create a specific exercise program to help you reach those goals. Programs can even be designed around your home gym equipment. Consider a training session once a quarter to keep your routine fresh. As with gyms, shop around and read reviews as all personal trainers are not created equal.

I kept waiting to feel better before starting to workout again last year. Funny thing is I kept feeling worse with no improvement and even less motivation to workout. When I finally started working out, after the first couple days of shock and horror, I started feeling better every day and just a few months later I feel amazing. Don't wait to feel anything folks--just do it like you know you should for a few weeks and then judge how you feel!

Hey Keith, great article!

I found especially true the tip number 2 - that you have to train with a personal trainer. It helps me a lot and I've seen more results after I am training with a trainer. First of all it helps to execute the exercises correctly, second of all it keeps you more disciplined.

Please write something about nutrition as well,
Thanks!
