I was not impressed with this Dr., saw her all through my pregnancy only becuase my insurance wouldn't let me change Dr's. 2 main complaints: First she misdiagnosed my baby as having down syndrome based on the State AFP screening tests even though these tests are just testing risk factors and are not diagnostic and even after all the final tests came back putting me in the not at risk category. Second, she did a terrible job on my c-section, sewing me up crooked, my belly button is off centered and my left side of my abdomen has excess skin which had difficulty healing and ended up abscessing due to her terrible surgical skills. I would not recommend this doctor. Also, her staff is rude, not very friendly except for "Jennifer" (pretty sure this was her name), she was helpful and friendly.

I would not recommend Dr. Patel to anyone! I had a very unpleasant experience for just a routine pap smear. Once leaving the facility I felt violated for some reason. I had many questions about birth control and my body and she seemed very rushed answering them as if I was bothering her. During my visit, she told me that I most likely will not be able to give natural child birth as if she was telling me not to eat before swimming, like it was nothing. She was very short with me and I think with being a doctor of such sensitive specialty would be more delicate. She was even really rough with me physically. I have definitely been to much for pleasant doctors. A week later, the receptionist called me with my results and I had questions and she I asked for the doctor to call me herself so I could ask questions. Her response was that "the doctor does not do results over the phone". I will definitely not be giving this doctor my business again!
