i have two dogs with cancer , the prices for care were staggering. i cant even afford the prices to have one put down. they wont take payments. it seems to me the the whole mighty dollar seems more important the the well being of the dogs.

Our 9 year old SILKY was terrified of his Vet so we took him to The Sodus Veterinary Clinic where the Vet "Dr. B" got down on his hands and knees and said: "where is Louie?" Louie ran to him! He never runs to anyone!

The reception staff is rude and they are expensive compared to surrounding clinics. I have doctored with them for over ten years but I have had to switch because of there prices and the front desk girls are very rude :-( The doctor was a man I can't remember his name at the moment but he was wonderful; always careful and caring with the animals I have brought in.

I have been going to Sodus Vet for many years. The vets at this clinic truly do care for the animals. They don't push expensive tests and always offer alternatives if available. I highly recommend them! My only caveat is that, like many of the clinics in the area, after hours calls must go to the Emergency Vet hospital in Henrietta. After visiting there, one will appreciate Sodus even more!
