The staff here works VERY hard!!! They have to deal with VERY RUDE, uneducated and self-serving FAMILY MEMBERS interfere with them doing their jobs!!! Note to all family members: LET THE NURSES DO THEIR JOBS!!!! Don`t INTERFERE!!! THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! They work VERY hard to help the RESIDENTS and they DON`T have time to kiss the EGOS and wishes of the FAMILY MEMBERS!! Just because you are a family member, you DO NOT have the right to HARASS NURSES and C.N.A.`s, etc. They KNOW how to do their job and they DON`T need your egos and MOUTHS to slow them down!! I am a family member who SEES firsthand how RUDE these family members are to the nurses and staff at the Oaks. You have lost MANY good nurses at this location because of how RUDE many of the family members are to the nurses. Now, your love ones are getting worse care because you chased off most of the staff and NOBODY in the Piedmont of North Carolina wants to work here because of this!! Many of these family members should feel ASHAMED of how cruel and mean that they have been to the nurses and staff here. Your EGOS need to be left at home!!! Let the professionals do the work, and keep your whining, saracstic traps shut!!! Have some manners!!!

No, it is their way or the highway

No, no one seemed to notice I was there

No, they weren't very knowledgeable

I was taken to this facility from forsyth hospital to recoup after surgery and I must admit that this place should be banned from taking another pt. I was there only two days but it was elderly abuse from the get go. I know from where and what I talk about for I an a rfetired R. N. I was laughed at --- told to urinate in the bed and was treated like an animal. PLEASE do not send anyone to this place.

Susan and Brenda....I recently had to go the hospital...the onlyCNAs that were good to me was Christopher Leeand of course Caroline both who were trained at the Oaks..when they transferred me to Old Vineyard after they refused to treat me for seizuers and I called the unit secretary a Tina Turner who came to my rescue...Joel one of your nurses he came down from his unit every day to make sure I was ok...For this you need to be proud...we might have had our warts but the Oaks has turned out some great people who know and respect patient rights and truly look out for one another..Tell Joel thank you..Somebody needs to go over there and teach those fools how to act they tried to kill me and didn't think I knew patient rights...Our dear friend Sandy taught me those well and I have never forgotten those..love to all of.you...Ronnies sister.....Candace
