Jerk! The Dr cancelled my first appointment after I'd been waiting over an hour. Second appointment I saw him for 5 minutes during which he belittled me and treated me like a difficult and slow child, the rest of the appointment conducted by his nurse practitioner. Will not ever go back.

This physician should have his license removed and not be able to practice the rest of his life. My father went to him with a nerve disease and he performed no testing of any kind and diagnosed him from based of one office visit and prior medical history. He sent him home and said "if it gets worse then go to the hospital." The condition worsened and my father went to the hospital walking and came out in a wheelchair. The office could not even fit my father in for visits and he worsened still waiting months for a follow up appointment. Thank God we found another neurologist in another group who immediately performed testing and sent him for treatments.. we have now found out that he doesn't even have the condition Dr. G said he had. He has a different condition and if he had received immediate attention from Dr. G and been properly diagnosed, he may not be living in a wheelchair today. This man is not committed to caring for his patients.

Every time I visit, I have to remind them why I'm visiting them. It makes me feel like they don't care about me. the customer's always right Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me. They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research.

This Neurologist referred me to several different Specialists for different tests, and all of the specialists are in the same building, so they all worked together to define, isolate, and correct my problems. This is an AWESOME practice!

They barely gave me any information at all. I had to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I felt like my appointments were pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. Very unprofessional, and seems paranoid of anyone he sees. It took almost 6 months before I saw another doctor who ended up putting me in the hospital for a serious condition this doctor told me hardly anything about. This doctor should have put me in the hospital 5 months previously and if he would have I probably wouldn't have lost the vision in my left eye.

I experienced nothing but grief and disappointment in Dr. Gonzalez's office. This is what happened.
Dr. Gonzalez prescribed two sets of prescriptions that did not work because of side effects (really bad side effects). To this day I don't have preventatives for my migraines. It is very difficult to schedule an office visit. They are always 3 months ahead.
Botox injections work well for my migraines and Dr. Gonzalez performs them, but my insurance was denied. While I was working out an appeal I missed an appointment (for Botox) that should have been canceled by the office. I was charged for a no show. This seemed unreasonable.
After my insurance was appealed, I tried to go back to Dr. Gonzalez. His nurse called me and told me the medicine was in and schedule me an appointment the for Botox injections. I took off work without pay and went to the appointment. I was met with a nurse who asked me if this was a routine check up. They didn't have the injections ready and knew nothing about it. I was very angry and complained to the office manager. The office manager told me, "If you are going to trash his office than I could go to another doctor". I swallowed my disappointment and tried to reschedule. The office manager never called me back (tried six times). I had the same problem with his nurse. There is a web page from the Neurological Associates of Tulsa web site that is labeled excellence. They say that they never compromise their patients safety and well being. I found this untrue.
