I feel Dr. OCONNOR only refers you to a specialist if it is out of her scope of practice and she isn't comfortable with treating something she isn't that familiar with.

She seems very sweet when you first meet her. She is famous for referring you to chiropractors and other doctors as she does not like to treat anyone with a real illness. Everytime I go there she refers me to someone else. What kind of doctor is that. Since the new medicare guidelines she will only write your prescription for 90 days with no refill even if it is for blood pressure or siimvastatin. She is using the new law to get you to come back again and more money for her. She gets really friendly but will kick you out of her practice whenever you ask her too many questions. She hates medicaid patients and has told me so. She will make you wait extra long if you are on medicaid as she did when I was in her office. She constantly complains about filling out medical forms. A beautiful lady but in my estimation not a good doctor.

It was very easy to get a convenient appointment right away. They have a very flexible schedule and got me in quickly. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and I left feeling more than unsatisfied. I had quite a few questions - NONE of which we're left unanswered but feeling something was def. not right , I called pharmacists and other Drs. And Nurses about my problem and her explanation on why she told me the health part of Gov. Made decision that painkillers could not be prescribed for even the severest pain. I found out she was not only misleading me but actually lying to me. I was informed by pharmacist that her office was in trouble in the past and it was there was no change in drug prescriptions. She herself was refusing to treat patients pain. A Doc. Who is actually lying to her own patients and leaving them crying in pain should not be practicing What a waste! I wish I hadn't bothered to spend the time and money on this appointment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS Dr.!!

Very rude...both doctor and the staff. Condescending. Long wait for
demeaning purpose. (To check that I wasn't a drug abuser by calling some system to check on me). I mentioned on my form I was holistically oriented. I waited over two hours with only two folks in the office when I arrived.
That brought out the snootiness. Also that I was a Medicare patient....
not enough money for them.
Was urged to get gall bladder surgery based on the mention I'd had acid reflux. NO test, no exam, just "have surgery."
When I arrived, was turned away because my insurance was "no good."
Anthem/Blue Cross. It was in my book. I called Blue Cross and was given the proper codes and refused to be turned away. I would never ever go back. Watch out if you're over 65, holistic, and have a brain in your head.

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
