My mom says it's an escape but I LOVE it. Reading has saved my butt more times than I can count. \n\nIf you don't like reading, there is something really wrong. Maybe you haven't found a subject that interests you or holds your attention. \n\nMe, I like history ALOT! Truth is so much stranger than fiction. If you don't believe me, read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.....I just can't imagine living in that time. It reads like a Dean Koontz story with the monsters disguised as humans. You just couldn't make that stuff up!! \n\nVictor Hugo (les miserables), Tomas Hardy (Tess of the D'Urbervilles), Alexander Dumas (the musketeer series), Mary Renault (the Alexander the Great Trilogy - especially Funeral Games) just to name a few of my favorites. I have read them all more times that I care to admit and I always learn something new as I get older and wiser. Please try to get back into reading if you've fallen off of the wagon. Not only is it an awesome escape, it improves your writing abilites, vocabulary, and presents a wonderful role model. \n\nI LOVE MY BOOKS!

I'm currently reading Peace Is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh. It's a fairly short book, but it really makes you think about what's going on in your life.
