When I went to see Dr Hanson I was not sure what to expect. After talking with him and going over my MRI films which showed three bulged disc in my lower back, my wife and I decided to go ahead and do laser therapy and decompression. Dr Hanson and his staff went over all the products and procedures that would help my back problem, and focused on my pain. After the fourth visit I started to notice the pain in my legs and low back was improving. My pain level had started at a 7-8 on the scale, by the eleventh visit my back pain was down to a 2-3. When all the treatments were done a few months had gone by when I re injured my back without hesitation Dr Hanson and his staff had me back in and on the road to getting better. I now choose to go see Dr Hanson for regular adjustments and the occasional decompression just to keep my body working like it should. I would just like to thank Dr Hanson and his staff for helping me heal and continue to stay healthy

I have had great chiropractic care for most of my adult life. I needed a DC in the Reno area, I base my opinion off of my experience not so much the opinion of other people because they rant!!!
I came in with chronic lumbar pain and was unable to stand. I was hoping to be a candidate for spinal decompression but after assessment wasn't a candidate. I was adjusted 3 times and have never felt better. Love the staff and Dr. Hansen. Recommend him daily.

I came to Dr. Hansen after I had gotten into a motor vehicle accident in Jan of 2015. He was great at spending time with me and anserwing all of my questions and addressing my concerns from the injury I had sustained from the crash. He worked directly with me, treating with laser therapy and chiropractic manipulation. Within a couple of weeks of treatment my pain had subsided greatly. I would recommend him to anyone who is suffering from mild to severe injuries. He is very honest and upfront about his treatment. This is one of the many reasons I continue to see him.

Dr. Hanson's procedure of decompression provided no relief for me, it was very expensive and time consuming for no relief. Dr. Hanson is very professional, his staff is friendly, office clean and does have state of the art equipment. However, he is not a MEDICAL DOCTOR! His assessments for certain conditions are not accurate based off his education level. For chronic pain patients >6months, please see a neurosurgeon or qualified ortho. From there, you can be referred to a decompression procedure like Dr. Hanson's. The mistake I made was referring myself and getting caught up in the sales pitch that my condition would be reversed by the therapy. For acute pain, yes, a patient's body has not made major adjustments to pain and/or have a higher level of degeneration. I know this bc my acute pain when I was younger was alleviated by an inversion table and traction devices. Hope this helps in your decision and good luck!

Dr. Hansen was great. Did the laser treatment and he explained everything he was doing, what it would feel like and what to expect for the recovery process.

to bad he has banker's hours - does not cater to the working person... he's only open 8:30 to 5pm hours which is hard when you have to miss work every week to go to the chiropractor.
I heard he was a good DC would have like to have gone to him as he came highly recommended..
