We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our terminally ill young cat to sleep during an emergency visit to OPVM. Dr. Springer had never treated our cat before, but she was so gentle and kind to our beloved pet. My boyfriend and I were sobbing when we had to euthanize our poor girl, and Dr. Springer was very nice. She also offered to take paw prints of our kitty and send them to us. Not only did she send the paw prints, but she also sent 2 poems about pet loss and a handwritten sympathy card. We really appreciated these gestures during such a tough time.
