In my opinion, this counselor lacks the expertise to see deeply enough in marriage counseling to identify the true underlying issues as opposed to those which might be superficially advanced by one party against the other, creating an additional layer of adverse exploitation by one party while that same party creates a facade to the counselor of being a perpetual victim in the marriage--as stated, this counselor is not skilled enough to deal with that. I know that these kinds of reviews are read by counselors and that a standard practice in responding is to make an inquiry sufficient to reveal the reviewer's name, etc. I will not be responding to such request. I have moved on. I merely wanted to make the point that "fit" was never an issue... this was and is a case of a counselor failing. No one is blaming the counselor for the failed marriage; that was and is my choice and my failure alone. The point here is that if there had been a chance, the counselor's lack of vision had the direct effect contrary to her stated objectives and her lack of expertise was kindly pointed out more than once. Counselors are not perfect and are no less human than their patients. Sometimes, an uninformed bias becomes a set of facts that aren't.

Kathy is not only attentive, but she is focused on helping you achieve long term results within a short period of time. She is not looking for life long patients.
