I wouldn't have given this vet office 1 star. Every time I had to deal with them it's been trouble! I made my female an apt for c-section and ask for the Jim the vet to call me. He never did. A couple of days before I called to confirm her apt. They never scheduled her! Asked again for the vet to call me. I wanted to make sure of the dates to do this because its very serious if they are early! He never did! Took my dog in for her c-section. When she was done I had 12 puppies. Not really when I got home and counted them there was 13. That's when I noticed they were full of fluid. I called the vet in johnstown he Said call the vet who did it. I called them and told them to have Jim call me. He did not someone else called and Said thing them. There is nothing we can do. There is a medicine for this that puppies should be treated with ASAP! My puppies never got treated because they never looked at the when they were born! The puppies also had to much Anastasia they could not suck and the mother wouldn't move for 5 days! She was in a bad way! They weighed her in at 93 pounds and her regular weight is 65. We took her and puppies to vet in somerset and he told us she was over medicated! I had to hand raise the puppies! When I took them 3 weeks later for an emergency visit here. They had emergency and really couldn't deal with us. Jamie the vet that waited on us would come in for 5 min then leave for 15-20 min come back for 5 min and same thing she told us she Had an emergency but I was there for an emergency! She brought medicine back for puppies and told us to give it to them! 92.00 while at this emergency visit I went out to ask if we could get a box and Was told by staff that she was to busy at counter to find one and that she wasn't working that side of the office anyway! Thanks! Just give me the bill! Well not really because my sister stood at the counter for 15 min and still couldn't get waited on! We left and Jamie called me to pay my bill. I told her to have Jim to call me! Guess what he never did! I got my bill in the mail. I called up again. This is now a month later! Told the staff to call me and I was surprised this lady gave him the message! Really I'm sure he got all of them he just don't like to deal with anyone! That many messages probably isn't the staff! Anyway I could tell just from his voice were this was going to go! He said I herd all about it now what do you want! Told him about the situation that he already heard from staff and of course he sided with his staff! Apparently Jamie spent 45 min with us on our emergency! Lol that is damn funny! And it's ok to treat paying customers like shit! Because the boss don't care either! He told me that I didn't have to pay the 92.00 and that I could stay in Somerset! And of course he never got one message to call me! 5 of my puppies died and almost lost the mother and don't come back because I don't like to talk to people! I had my other dogs leg fixed before this and he still can't walk good! I would not recommend this place for anything plus there staff is so rude! Mary b really needs some social skills!

I went to check in my rabbit to get neutered and the girl at the counter was very rude (answered every question with a snarky answer including the spelling of my pet's name) and was in a hurry to get me to sign a consent form, I did not want to sign it until I had my questions answered but did anyways (my fault). The Vet was in a hurry to get me out the door when I asked him questions and instead of giving me options or asking if I was sure it was something I wanted to do, he literally said "Well, I think he will be fine and have a nice day!"Luckily, I had a "gut feeling" and went back and got my pet bunny BEFORE they performed the procedure. The Vet called my phone 1-3 times a day without leaving a message for a week and when I finally answered, instead of apologizing, he had to give me an arrogant spill on how wonderful they are there and the exact time he spent with me. He said they keep track in a log of how much time they spend with each customer. Like there is actually a time limit on how long you are supposed to spend with a customer when it comes to your pet's life/health? Yes, "Doctor" you are so caring and wonderful! Sarcasm intended! He said everyone loves Alyssa (the girl at the counter), I said "I don't care about anyone else's experience, all I care about is mine and it was bad!" and with that, I hung up The Vet had told me at the appointment that the ratio of the rabbits dying when they put them under for neutering was 1 out of 200. After I brought my rabbit home, I called another customer of his to tell them about the rude experience and "gut feeling" and she said she has had 3 out of 9 pet rabbits die under those circumstances since November of 2012. I know that I am not the best at math but that is NOT 1 out of 200!He also acted like that is "the only way" to neuter rabbits and I found out there is another place in State College that can do the procedure a different way. I will never go back to this place and everyone I can think of will know about this experience
