Our 25+ dear family horse may be old but he still has a lot of spunk in him and after he started showing symptoms that weren't normal, I called Dr. Townsend. He picked up on the 1st or 2nd ring and was out of town at the time. When I explained the symptoms to him, he knew right away what it was and suggested that I get him to Valley Equine in Ranson, WV. Turns out he had blockage in his esophagus from feed. After it was dislodged, he was his old self again. We were ready to put him down if necessary due to his age, but with Dr. Townsend's knowledge, it saved him and he is out grazing in the field with his buddies kicking up his heels again. Thank you Dr. Townsend, you are the best!!

I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. One thing I did enjoy was the waiting room chairs. They were comfortable and I didn't mind waiting in them for the appointment. The examining rooms at their office were clean and free of odor. I can tell they really strive to keep their office looking and smelling nice. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.

They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. very nice
