The staff at Tidewell Hospice House in Venice took wonderful care of my cousin. My family is so grateful for their compassionate care and for all they did to preserve the dignity of this wonderful man. I will never forget as soon as he arrived, they changed him into a golf shirt to help him feel less like a patient and more like a member of their family. Thank you for making his death peaceful and for taking such great care of all of us.
Everyone at Tidewell, doctor, nurses, staff, volunteers, were the kindest and most compassionate people ever in providing care for my mother and our family in her final days. I can't say enough to convey the comfort and peace they all provided to us during such a difficult time. A special thanks to Cheryl for her loving kindness and also to the lovely lady who played the harp. I will never forget you.
I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. My experience while my loved one was in the hospice was helped a little by the extremely friendly and supportive caretakers. They were so great and always there for me whenever I needed them to be. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.
