My doctor retired and referred all his patients to Dr Murphy - I only learned of this when calling for a prescription refill that has to be filled monthly. I explained my doctor sent me a monthly prescription and that I wanted to schedule a physical. They scheduled the app't and said they would mail the prescription. Never came after numerous calls not even the courtesy of a call back. My physical is scheduled for Monday - today, two days before after making arrangements to be out of work they called me to say "the doctor won't be in on monday sorry we need to reschedule". So they a. never sent the prescription b. would not return calls and c seriously cancelling the Saturday before an app't - three strikes baby you are out. I said well i guess I will be finding another doctor and she said ok good, thank you. Never seen anything like this - not what i want in a primary care. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I have witness in many occasions (in his office and in the hospital) not only his professionalism but also his good heart. I had only good things to say about him even before making the decision to take him as my family PCP. He is very knowledgeable and caring it wasn’t hard to think of him when my family experienced a tragedy and we needed someone we could trust. He was very available at all times to put us at ease. I wouldn’t give credit to any bad reviews posted in this page especially if that person is unable to identify him/herself .

I have been using Dr. Murphy for many years now, he was recommended to me by my OBGYN. I actually live in NJ but travel to CT just to keep him as my Doctor. Every time he has gone out of his way to be helpful and is extremely caring whenever myself or my husband has had a problem. I never feel rushed, he listens carefully and is always spot on with his diagnosis and treatment. He thinks out of the box and is not afraid to try different treatments. Reading some of these other reviews I find it hard to believe we are all talking about the same Doctor. Dr. Murphy is an excellent Doctor and I am so thankful to have him and have full faith and trust in him.

Horrible doctor. He thinks he is smart but in reality he is a crook, a fraud. His claim to fame is his "expertise in genetics" This 'kid' is no expert. He probably just took a weekend course at the marriot hotel. I heard from many other people that either has gone (past tense) or know who he is. Invariabely, the first thing people say is "stay clear from this @#%$" He is a money hungy, no good, self absorbed "dumb as dirt" inhumane $###

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!
