The location to Centra State is ideal in terms if keeping your own physicians. The facility is clean enough and the great room is well maintained. When it comes to care and treatment....not what you would hope for. The doctors and therapists that come ARE actually wonderful and professional. You will have to request to be seen by a doctor or therapist if it is a weekend. Otherwise you are to sit in your cell, I mean room until Monday. The workers, aides and nurses are abrasive, lack empathy and are down right rude with attitude. The visiting hours are strict, and guests are told that it's lights out by 8 pm. The facility has a prison like feel. 3 strict meals a day, no walking unless you have a written order to walk, lights out, evening meds by 8. We requested our loved one have a shower, we were told that only happens on Tuesdays, no sooner, no later. Incompetence in handling concerns was alarming. The rooms are tiny, not smal, TINY. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The facility tries to rest on it's high ratings from the state...I don't understand how they are so highly rated, they do not deserve it.

The Nursing and Housekeeping staff here is excellent! However, the rooms while clean are too small and 2 patients are crowded.

The billing system is very unprofessional...they send you a letter with a copy of an eob from your insurance company, and an envelope. No patient ID #, or anything you can tear/cut of and return with your payment while keeping the remaining part! If you done enclose your payment with an identifying letterhead, you have no real receipt, except your cancelled check, which bank's don't send you anymore. My suggestion to the Manor...Get Quick Books and a good bookkeeper!

People in the Rehab department are a bit prejudice toward a certain people, I didn't feel like they cared for or attended to my relative as well as they did for other patients there when I visited.

My wife spent 26 days at the Manor. The treatment by the staff, from the cleaning ladies to the head nurse was wonderful. Everyone was very attentive. I wish to especially commend the physical therapists who went out of their way to help and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend the manor

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only patient.

Worse experience ever. Patient was over medicated. Others were ignored and mishandled. Call bell respond time was far too long. Patient was not monitored properly. Very neglectful with special dietary needs and allergies. I can go on and on. I am just happy to be gone.

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice.
