they are desparately understaffed but refuse to hire people who want to work and fire people for one small infraction. they block unionization because they don't want anyone to know how poorly the facility is run. the state comes in and overlooks things they shouldn't. why is that? they get rid of staff who can point out problems and try to correct them. they need community oversite.

This is the worst facility that I have ever seen. They are short staffed and can't see after patients properly and half of the staff is so lazy. They do not do the things that they should to take care of their patients. It is ridiculous!!!

My brother is there now 7-5-15 The staff is incompetent and let my brother pee his pants for neglecting him. A
bed pan maybe-DA? The social worker does not return calls and I cannot even understand half of them when I call to speak with them. I was promised a social worker would be sent to see him by the person I was referred to by a Gretchen who I was given a contact number by a wonderful social worker at McLaren Hospital and no one has seen him to even explain why he is there. He said he is just laying there and they take him to the cafeteria is about the only service given-just terrible!

Not at all, they seemed stuck in the past

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

heritage manor should be closed down! my grand mother was there for about 2 weeks and ended up with bruises on her arms. I would never suggest that anyone take their loved one to this place because they will just plain out not be cared for properly!

My experience was okay until I had a family member pass away.
At the end, they were rudem uncaring, tacky and unprofessional.
This includes the front desk, social worker and a nurse on the unit working 3rd shift. I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to take their ANIMAL there! They were useless and it left a BAD taste!!!
ZERO RECOMMENDATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
