Gilman nursing home is run by a total Moron he doesn't listen to any one but the P.O.A. of the family and if any one else of the family tries to talk to him you may as well hang it it up because he will cut you off while you are talking, and so on. If there is friction in the family he will listen to only 1 person and that's it, my mother is there and that lying piece of crap that runs that place he tells me i can attend my mom's care plan meeting and then turns around and tells me no i can not be there even though my mom want's me there because now it's up to the P.O.A. and then he has something to say me but doesn't take me to his office instead he yell's at me in front of the worker's and residents, because my mom sent some of HER stuff home with me and he told me if i take anything out there again he will turn me in for theft, I'm like REALLY my MOTHER told me to take it home it was hers, most of what i gave to her, and he had the guts to stand there and lie and say "we have been through this so don't do it again" And i have noticed he puts his hands on the residents he has no right to do this he has done it to my mom and she told him not to do it again or she would turn him in and he said you wouldn't. He let's my so called sister go in there and fight with my mom and tell his staff lie's and crap about me that i have supposedly done to my mother but i have never hurt my mother and he lets this go on. I think he needs to be replaced, he lie's, he takes sides, he is an all around IDIOT that should not be in control over all those elderly people.

Gilman nursing home is run by an idiot. Today I went in to visit a resident and they were moving all the residents rooms. Like its an overnighter for teenagers. The residents were unhappy. Things were all over the place. I don't feel this administrator has a clue. He just throws caution to the wind, and does whatever his urges tell him, with no regard for the patients. Older residents do not like change. All of the wheelchair residents were placed on one hall making more work for one hall over the other. Seemed really ignorant to me.

The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here.
