My 85 yr old mother is currently a rehab patient. We find her in bed in a urine soaked diaper at 10:00 in the morning. They had her so drugged that she could not stay awake for PT. First thing you notice when you walk in the door is a strong urine smell. We have a private caregiver with her everyday and because we are watching she gets better care than the rest of the patients but still below what is given to animals. The Humane Society would have them up on charges for abuse if they were taking care of animals.
I can not think about all those poor souls that are at this place that have no one watching out for them.
There are staff members that try,but too few staff, poor training, and the people in charge tell you what you what to hear but do not follow through.
I wanted to give NO STARS but I did not have that choice!

The ends of Mothers fingers were pinched off down to the open flesh
Her toes had bruised spots on top. There was never an answer for this

Valerie Padgett sucks as a CNA. She is hanging around with a motorcycle group professing to be about God. They are seen smoking marijuanna and drinking beer all the time. She needs to be drug tested.. As well her boyfriend that works for a local fire department

This facility was very poorly organized. The staff did not inform us of what care my mom would receive while at their facility. She didn't get a shower until after she'd been there for a week, nor did she know that they have a laundry service. She was there for physical therapy, and that aspect of her stay was good, but that was about it. Their schedule for giving medications was inconsistent, and to top it off they have billed her for a week after her discharge date. DO NOT take your loved ones to this facility.

My Mom was sent to this place for rehab for a short time from hospital. She was never Happy here and didn't get the right treatment she should of gotton. They kept her drug up a lot to keep her clam. When need to go to bathroom they took so long she kept on falling out of Bed. When my Sister and her Husband came to visted they brought her a nice lunch. when it came time for her to use the Bathroom they never came and my Brother in law had to go get some one. Then she was sent to the hosptial for some blood to be taking and never went back. Because she passed away in the hosptial. When it came time for me to go get her stuff from them. They were not nice and asked me to come back another day for them. I said NO I like them now. As my friend and I went a man was talking to one of the nures and she did not talk back with him. Not Nice at all. when they gave me My Mom stuff it was in 3 boxes and gave me a suitcase. When at home I found out the suitcase they gave us was not are's and her clothes were mess up from one of the bodywash that had open also all over her pictures too. There were also picture's miss and plants that my nince gave to her for Christmas. I would never sent any one to this place. Very Short on Stuff members and people not very nice.

My grandfather was in this facility for a few months for what was supposed to be his rehab time. He barely got any therapy since he was drugged all the time. They didn't want to deal with him not sleeping at night and asking where he was all the time so it was easier for them to drug him. You can barely understand the Dr. on staff, he needs to learn how to speak English clearer. They gave my Grandpa a drug for seizures even though he wasn't having any, we found out later this drug was given to him way longer then anyone should have. He started having suicidal thoughts, he fell out of bed 3 times! They never watched him and he is the happiest man you'll know. The drugs and the non existent care caused these problems. Since he was always drugged out they couldn't give him therapy. He was what they called "a feeder" since at that time he couldn't feed himself but many times we would show up, he was alone with his food, frustrated that he couldn't feed himself. Other times he was in his room with the food tray because the dining area was closed for some odd reason, which happened very frequent. I could go on and on. Good news for us is that since we've removed him from the facility he is happy, feeding himself and has never fallen out of bed. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ELDERLY!!

No, they could have used some continuing education courses

Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond
