If it wasn't for 1 or 2 of the staff (RN's) things would've been worse I have only dealt with 2 other nursings homes and I wouldn't recommend my enemy here! They were always short of staff, always cancelled activities, and so much more!

Been in nursing homes earlier in live visiting with Grandparents but had Grandma put in Brian Center in Weaverville and just cannot believe the diferrence since I hvve moved her! No smelly food, nurses and everyone just really try to help them. I have some sad storys from here which might be coming out soon!

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

Their facility was clean enough, nothing special though. They were very understaffed, but the staff was respectful and courteous in spite of being overworked. They spoke kindly to all the patients, and never used any foul language or gossiped in front of the patients. Their equipment really needs to be updated right away. It looked ancient, and there wasn't enough of it for all patients. The staff is great about turning their phones off when they come into work, but shouldn't everyone? Their full attention is always on the patients ... WHEN THEY ACTUALLY FIND THE TIME TO CARE FOR THE PATIENT.

Way too loud! I could barely hear what anyone was saying over the noise

No, no one seemed to notice I was there

Somewhat. But I mostly felt ignored.

No, they are almost always unavailable

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible
