Is very intelligent and knowledgeable really knows his stuff but could really work on his bedside manner and can be very rude but does not seem to realize he is being rude lacking appropriate social skills almost like Aspergers. Has also made a few comments on the verge of being racist but has no clue how offensive he sounds!!!

He is a good doctor and very knowledgeable, but never seems to be in a good mood. He can get very upset and angry if things are not going well. It is very difficult to make appointments because you have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. This is incredibly inconvenient for a person who works all day and is not always able to answer their phone.

Dr. McClean has no bedside manner whatsoever. I was having problems with Hypothyroidism, but the Synthroid was making me have muscle aches. He actually recorded in front of me that he didn't feel that my complaints were valid, and that the Synthroid had nothing to do with the muscle aches. Funny, but when I quit taking the Synthroid I stopped aching within a few days. Every time I've tried it since, I've ached. Plus, muscle aches are a commons symptom of Hypothyroidism and he acted like he had never heard this before. I got an earful about his financial woes, and his office staff lacked professionalism and courtesy. The office is very shabby. Not what I would expect from a specialist. After two visits, I felt that he wasn't listing to me, and acted as if my symptoms were all in my head, so I never went back. Recording his negative views of my physical complaints right in front of me was so rude, and the last straw. He was no help whatsoever.
