I have had surgery on my left knee which was minor but required 3 months of pt afterward. The diagnosis went quickly and the appointment for the surgery done immediately. My other knee has now been MRI'd and I will be going in tomorrow to have it read. Although Dr. Charen thinks it is the same problem that my left knee suffered he will read the MRI and let me know if I need surgery or not. He is very thorough but does work quickly, which personally I like. He also helped me out by giving me a cortisone shot so that I could dance at my niece's wedding.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained.

Receptionist was very rude and unprofessional to all patients. Office is very old, dirty, and unpleasant. My waiting time was in excess of 45 minutes to be called in and another 45 minutes for Dr. Charen to come in. Today was my first visit with Dr. Charen. He was very rushed, he did not answer any of my questions. I was in his office for having pain in my hips. He gave me a pair of disposable pants to change into. He left the room. I was middle of changing, that he almost opened the door to come until I yelled that please wait , I am not ready. In short, I do not recommend Dr. Charen to anyone. He is unprofessional, rushed, and seems that he does not care. His staff is all the same.

Dr. Charen was very professional when my mother had a fractured hip. We were seen within 24 hours, and the surgery was performed the next day. Dr. Charen explained the procedure clearly. My mother was very pleased, and we would highly recommend him.

Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. I love how attentive they are here. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted. The only complaint that I have is the woman who works the front desk, she barks at patients and made me question my choice of doctor. Luckily, she is NOT a reflection of every other staff member in the office who were all friendly and patient.
