TBH since I was a child I have hated getting dental work done but since Dr. Boyce has been my dentist my anxiety about going has been eased. He and his staff are very patient with me and provides detailed explanations of every procedure and alternatives available.

The Hygienist was very professional and very good, the front staff could use a makeover however I had to cancel my second cleaning and when I tried to reschedule they were booked so far out that I ended up making a appointment elsewhere. would not recommend due to overbooked schedule.

I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else.
At the time I was unaware of the dangers of putting metal fillings in my mouth, especially while you're pregnant... but I still asked that he put tooth colored filling in my mouth. But because they were cheaper for him to do and I was on medicaid, he talked me into getting them saying "they will be stronger and better for your teeth. Tooth colored feelings are weaker". I've had a quality dentist in Northern VA my entire life, and they never put a metal filling in my mouth. He was aware of this.
I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was there and after the first time I never came back.
He also tried to talk me into getting work done that I found out later I did not need. BE CAREFUL!! I do not want anyone else to be taken advantaged of. I needed someone that genuinely had the best interest of my mouth and body; he did not. It was all about the money.

All the equipment at this office seems a little old and outdated. It's usable, but just barely. It really worried me that I couldn't get any questions answered here. I couldn't get a straight answer out of anyone! I was completely Unsatisfied with my visit.
