Four weeks ago I had a revision of a plate in my Rt Femur, because the plate was moving away from my bone and causing pain which made it difficult to walk. The surgery was done by Dr Wittig and his team. They were professional, compassionate but most of all knowledgeable. They explained every step of the procedure to me and I know I had the best
care possible.

Dr. Wittig saved my life!! On January 2010 I was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma of my left femur bone. February 2010, Dr. James Wittig removed my entire left femur bone and replaced it with a prosthesis. It has been over 5 1/2 years and I have been alive, doing great and cancer free!! I would strongly recommend Dr. Wittig to anyone who needs an Orthopedic Oncologist!! God bless Dr. James Wittig!!!

I was referred to Dr. Wittig by another orthopedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement done in 2006 and for the past three years my leg kept swelling on me. I come to find out that I fractured my tibia and had a lesion on the bone. Dr. Wittig took the old knee out and had a antibiotic spacer put in and two rods down the bone for six weeks. On 9/15/15 I had the new knee put in. Its been six weeks since the surgery and I feel good. I love that he spends time with you and listens to everything you have to say. He has a fantastic bedside manor and his office staff is always willing to help you. I would recommend Dr. Wittig to my family and friends in a heartbeat.

Dr. Wittig treated with compassion and I was 100% confident in his ability. He performed a limb sparing operation for me, which other doctors weren't willing to attempt. I traveled from Ohio to see him and I'd do it all over again. He's the best there is!!

What a fabulous experience I had with Dr. Wittig and his very large team!! I felt confident that I was in good hands and I was actually in GREAT hands. The knowledge and compassion this team has is far superior than any other doctor I have come across. I was happy that my tumor was benign, but regardless, I was truly put at ease from day one!

Dr. Wittig was recommended to us by a colleague for a rather unusual condition that my wife had suffered with for many many years as other doctors weren't sure what to do. We were scared. Immediately upon meeting Dr. Wittig and his staff, we knew we were with the right guy. Her surgery was scheduled immediately and 6 months later she is pain free for the first time in many years. Dr. W's professionalism and caring is beyond description and his team are top notch. Post op calls and follow up were tremendous and his PA Jenn Kelly was remarkable. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wittig and his team.

Doctor Wittig did an excellent job from start to finish with my procedure. He has an excellent bedside manner, and gave my wife and I comfort during a difficult time. I felt fortunate to have him as my doctor.
