I will give the doctor one star because he did actually put his hands on my knee during the examination, but that's where it ends. I went to see Dr. Demuth because of a great deal of pain I was/am having in a knee that had a total knee replacement done. Because of my insurance situation, I was not able to see the surgeon who performed the surgery in Delaware. Dr. Demuth simply looked at the X-rays I had done, manipulated my knee and said, "X-rays look fine and the you have good range of motion." I repeated that I have been in constant pain since the surgery almost a year ago, and he simply repeated that my X-ray was fine and my range of motion was good. I began to feel a rage at this point, because it was obvious that he had no intention of listening to my concerns. I kept telling him that the problem wasn't the joint, but the muscles, ligaments, and tendons around the joint. He refused to do anything about any of that and told me to look up a surgeon who specializes in fixing botched surgeries. I told my primary care doctor that and he told me there is no such surgical specialty. Basically, Dr. Demuth just told me that to get me out of his office because he didn't take my injury seriously.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. Even though you ask to see the doctor, they will try and sneak a PA in as a substitute.
