Dr Kozam should not have become a doctor. He is extremely rude and uncaring. I can only wonder at what point he decided that he would be good at interacting with real people, because he is not. Maybe he should have become a veterinarian because animals don't care if you have a terrible personality. I am actually surprised that he is still around because I have seen other reviews about him that are similar to my view.

Dr Kozam is a jackasss. His bedside manner is atrocious. He acted like he was a psychiatrist in my appointment. I was having a lot of pain and he was very unsympathetic. He focused on the fact that I was very anxious and he kept harping on it .. duh, I was in a lot pain. I would never see this idiot again and would advise people to stay away. There are so many other better doctors out there than this one.

It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. I do not agree with the way they do business here, it is always their way or the highway. They are so uncooperative if a customer complains and are never willing to admit if they are wrong.

All this being said, the doctor was aware that my insurance did not cover my procedure or subsequent visits. Despite this, they refused to tell me over the phone what the results of my biopsy were (negative), and insisted that I schedule a paid appointment, just to hear the results. All they had to do was tell me over the phone that they were negative. Doc was never willing to get on the phone or simply pass along the message. I had a horrible experience with this doctor despite a lot of good things (very pleasant staff). I would never go back. This doc is motivated only by money from what I can tell, with little regard for the patient.

First of all, the secretary here is a B*TCH. She is nasty and rude and not pleasant to speak to AT ALL.

Second, every doctor is busy but they should make time to speak to patients on the phone. It seems at this office you need to make an appt to speak to the doctor.

Dr. Kozam spoke to me as if I was uninformed and stupid, (which I am not). Since I have a high deductible insurance and I have to pay for appointments out of pocket, I was annoyed that he insisted that I come in for an appointment to determine that I needed a colonoscopy, which my regular GP had already told me. I told the receptionist that I would rather not have a follow-up appointment unless there was a problem, and to let me know if this as the case. Two weeks later my GP called me to let me know that I had a problem which Dr. Kozam had not bothered to tell me, since I had not scheduled a follow up appointment. When I called his office the phone rang and rang and then he himself answered the phone. I asked him if he could tell me what my problem had been but he refused to talk to me without making an appointment. "After all you wouldn't ask your neighbor that was a plumber for advice about your plumbing problems would you?" I had already paid this man over $1200.00 for his services, including an almost $200 office visit that consisted of sitting in his office and being told about what I needed to drink before getting the procedure done. His attitude was condescending, patronizing, and rude. I would not go back to him and I would not recommend him to anyone. I told my GP that he should not refer him in my opinion, and I hope he takes my advice.
