The seems to be a common problem in medicine today. Dr. Birdsall was my childrens' pediatrician for several years and we believe her to be a good doctor. We made an appointment. Her office confirmed it with a phone call to our home. We took the kids out of school and when we arrived, we were informed that we would not be provided service. The staff was rude about it. There was no issue with insurance. The appointment was simply cancelled without any notification. The doctor who was there said that it was a mistake for the office to confirm the appointment, but would not do anything about it. We terminated our relationship with Dr. Birdsall as as result of this very poor customer service.
