My mom, myself and my dad have all been Dr Lazarus patients and we all love him. I will tell you he does truly care for you as a patient. Sometimes its the best doctors who don't have an outgoing bedside manor but give it time. He will truly work with you and your problems to help you. Be honest with him he will be honest back. I've seen both Dr Laz and Green love both. We have been seeing him since 2005.

I was referred to Dr. Lazarus by my Orthopedic Surgeon following emergency hip replacement after a fall, because the Surgeon suspected that there was a neurological problem affecting my right leg, causing weakness and muscle spasms. Dr. Lazarus not only diagnosed what turned out to be a rare, uncommon spinal injury that I had also incurred with this fall, but spent over an hour with me in the office to explain everything. He took the time to go over the MRI's with me- all of which he analyzes himself- and to show me precisely on the images of my spine where the injury had occurred. Unlike some other highly intelligent doctors (the "brainiacs") I have encountered who are at the top of their field, Dr. Lazarus actually talks to me (not AT me) during my visits and, maybe more importantly, really listens to me and all of my many questions, which he always answers. I always ask him to "tell it to me straight" and give me his honest opinion, which he of course does, but he does so with compassion and never makes me feel stupid for asking. I see him and hear him with other patients as I come and go, and he always treats everyone with the respect, kindness, and sincere caring on a personal level that, in my opinion, we could all stand to have more of from each other on a daily basis in this crazy world. As for his nurses and other staff in the office, they are all professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. If I need to leave a message, I always receive a return call as soon as humanly possible. Because my injury has required ongoing treatment, which fortunately for me has been very successful, I am familiar enough with the care provided by Dr. Lazarus and his entire office to honestly say that I would not only recommend anyone who needs to see a Neurologist to go there, but would strongly encourage them to do so.

While in Miami, FL visiting a dying relative had pain issues in my foot possibly relating to spinal fusion several years ago. Saw a Dr in Fl and tests were ordered. Called Dr Lazerus' office to schedule the tests that were ordered and was told that I needed to schedule an office visit before they would schedule tests that were already ordered. I told them that the tests were ordered and the DR in FL would review as I trusted him- he is my family's dr there. Was told again, no tests without seeing Dr first. I told them I would call around before scheduling appointment. I call back after discovering that NO Dr would schedule tests without first scheduling an appointment. Was told by girl who called me back that they would not schedule the appointment as I had the audacity to complain about their policy of wanting to schedule an appointment before scheduling tests. This Dr is only interested in bilking me and my insurance company out of money and then when I had the audacity to say something, refused to see me. This Dr very obviously cares only about his money and not his patients!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were so welcoming and friendly during my appointment and really made me feel at home. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places.

They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable.
