Two cases of swine flu in Turkey: ministry

Two Turks who travelled to the United States have been diagnosed with swine flu after returning home, the health ministry said.

"The patients, whose general condition is good, have been isolated and put under monitoring," the statement said late Saturday, adding one of them was hospitalised in Istanbul, while the second in the western port city of Izmir.

Earlier this month, two Iraqi-born US nationals passing through Turkey on their way to Iraq were diagnosed with the A(HIN1) virus and treated in an Istanbul hospital for eight days before recovering and being discharged.
