Haiti cholera stabilizes as death rate drops off: officials


Haiti's cholera epidemic has stabilized with only six new fatalities reported in the last 24-hour period, health officials said Monday.

There have been "259 deaths, 3,342 hospitalisations," said Gabriel Thimote, director general of Haiti's health department, updating Sunday's toll of 253 dead and 3,115 infections.
