New Yorkers do it less but like it more, a new sex survey has found.
Seventy-one percent of Big Apple residents said they were satisfied with their love lives. Only Atlanta, with a 73 percent satisfaction rate, finished higher among America's big cities.
New Yorkers said they had sex 80 times a year -- below the national average of 84, according to the survey, released yesterday by the makers of Trojan condoms.
Among residents of 10 big cities, New Yorkers ranked fifth in frequency -- way behind Houston's average of 101 times a year.
Other findings included:
* On a scale of 1 to 10, Americans give their sex lives a rating of 6.5.
* 62 percent want more sex -- but 4 percent complained of too much.
* Men are much more likely to complain of not getting enough. Seventy-three percent want more frequent sex, compared with 53 percent of women.
* Only 21 percent were "extremely satisfied" with their love life. Thirty percent were "dissatisfied."
