The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to Statistics Demonstrating High Levels of Young People Experiencing Second Hand Smoke in Hastings, East Sussex

(PRWEB UK) 17 July 2013

According to the Hastings Observer, a campaign has been launched to highlight the risk of secondary smoke after a recent study revealed that there were high levels of passive smoking occurring in homes and cars throughout the region. At highest risk were 14 and 15 year olds who were in danger of developing a range of ailments including cancer, heart disease and meningitis as a result of passive smoking.

Cynthia Lyons, East Sussex acting Director of Public Health said:

"Some people mistakenly believe that by smoking out of the car window or standing by the kitchen door they are shielding loved-ones from the effects of smoke, but in fact 80 per cent of second hand smoke cannot be seen and is odourless."

In response to the statistics, the National Council for Hypnotherapy has released this article to highlight the effectiveness of using hypnotherapy to quit smoking. The Council consists of qualified and professional hypnotists who use techniques to change the way a person feels towards smoking as well as trying to increase determination and willpower. A spokesperson from the company explained:

"We all know how damaging smoking and second hand smoke can be, so it is paramount for those who want to quit to find a way to do so effectively. Hypnotherapy can provide a fresh approach and use unique tactics working hand in hand with the smoker."

The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to follow health statistics which can be potentially helped by hypnotherapy.
