'Eye' on fetal alcohol


Children exposed to alcohol in the womb have impaired eye blinks, a South African study found.

Such kids may develop fetal alcohol syndrome, a collection of birth defects and developmental problems that include delayed growth, learning disabilities, and abnormal facial features.
