Dr. Shaw was/is my parent's doctor for many years. He is pleasant enough and spends time in the room with them, but I wish I could get them to see someone else. He may have been good at one point but has been phoning it in for some time now. I believe he is responsible for my mother's rapid cancer advancement, by not being proactive enough in her treatment, and the same can be said for my father's deterioration over the past couple years. He is very blase about pushing or suggesting any treatments other than meds - basically taking the easy way out. Don't expect him to be rigorous in his monitoring of the meds he prescribes either. On top of it all, he has added a new admin ass't who is downright rude and treats the patients and their family members like they're an inconvenience to her, rather than the reason she's there. She's reason enough not to go to this office.

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified.
