The 80th Street Residence is the only dedicated facility in New York City specializing in Enhanced Memory Care. As the very first recipient in the nation of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s Excellence in Care Dementia Care Program Award, we are very proud of our community. Licensed by the New York State Department of Health, The 80th Street Residence offers seniors who are unable to live alone an impressive wealth of amenities and services with a specifically structured Program for Residents with varying degrees of memory challenges. In fact, each of our 8 floors is a unique homelike “neighborhood” and is designed to encourage Residents’ participation in activities in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Our secure outdoor Courtyard and Atrium Terrace allow Residents to enjoy the beauty of the Upper East Side while our many outings to local museums, Central Park and such keep them connected to the City they so well love.
