About
Charlotte’s historic small-town atmosphere has been incorporated in an attractive design that offers destination points for our residents, from our French Café to our hair salon. We serve mid-Michigan, and are conveniently located between I-94 and I-96, just west of I-69, Exit 60. We are located only one mile south of Hayes-Green-Beach Memorial Hospital, and just minutes from several major hospitals serving Lansing, Jackson, and Battle Creek.
Behavioral intervention is our specialty. Our staff is trained to work with individuals having higher needs of care. Our team works to make them feel secure in their environment—appreciated and loved! We have 24-hour care, wheelchair accessible showers, and activities that encourage residents to be as independent as possible—with all the assistance they need.
We believe in the benefits of Sensory Stimulation, and have designed our residence with destinations that make memories come alive and help create moments of enjoyment. Our four cozy dining rooms can accommodate residents at different levels of need, allowing each resident to dine in dignity, in the style to which they feel most comfortable. Sensations is family owned with over 75 years combined experience in the senior industry—many years working exclusively with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Sensations has just opened with 39 beds, in Private and Friendship rooms.
