Grandell has assumed a leadership role in the provision of comprehensive rehabilitative health care, offering individuals the opportunity to develop skills essential to restoring their independence. Our services extend to both the geriatric long term residents who may require 24 hour skilled nursing care as well as to adults of all ages requiring short term rehabilitation services, who may be recovering from heart attack, coronary bypass surgery, stroke, etc.Our staff members are committed to providing quality health care services in a friendly, clean, safe and comfortable environment. Families and prospective residents are encouraged to visit our facility to review the services we provide. We are conveniently located in Long Beach, NY, Just one short block from the famous Long Beach Boardwalk where residents and their families enjoy relaxing strolls together (Boardwalk is handicap accessible).
Rrecreational programs are planned to meet each individual's needs. Activities are designed to enhance the quality of life and to promote independence and self-expression. Individual reaction, group activities and community trips maintain a link with the residents former lifestyle.
Patients/residents participate in diet selection through monthly menu planning committee meetings and resident counsel committee meetings.

Grandell is a 278 bed facility providing 24 hour comprehensive inpatient care to adults of all ages. We are conveniently located opposite the beach at Long Beach.
