Lindsay Arvin works as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Louisiana. She has an extensive background in nutrition education, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy in a variety of settings.
Lindsay obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics at Purdue University, then completed the top ranked supervised practice program with rotations including clinical nutrition and childhood diabetes. Simultaneously, she worked with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children to provide education, nutrition counseling, and group classes to mothers of young children. Throughout her career, Lindsay has consulted for organizations including youth centers, psychiatric facilities, and group homes. Additionally, she practiced medical nutrition therapy for several years in hospitals based in Indianapolis and New Orleans. She has worked with individuals suffering from conditions including kidney failure, diabetes, congestive heart failure, and cancer.
After years of helping patients manage complications from many of these diseases, Lindsay decided it was time to start focusing on prevention. She created Nutrition NOLA with the goal to continue offering consulting to facilities and businesses, but with a primary emphasis on guiding individuals toward a healthier lifestyle. It's never too soon (or too late!) to start managing your health. At Nutrition NOLA, Lindsay can give you the tools you need to reach your short-term nutrition and wellness goals, as well as prevent complications in the long run.
