For over 26 years, our board certified, chief podiatric surgeon, Dr. Edward Lang, has served both the New Orleans and Metairie communities as a specialist in reconstructive foot surgery. Dr. Lang is a member of The American Board of Lower Extremities, The American Podiatric Medical Association and The Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association.
History
Established in 1989.
New Orleans Podiatry Associates, which was originaly branded "Uptown Podiatry", opened its primary New Orleans location in the heart of the Baptist Hospital community. Begun in a charming, small, warm and stylish uptown New Orleans house converted for medical use in the 1970s, this location was completely restored in 2008 after flood waters destroyed the interior and much of the original exterior. Today, New Orleans Podiatry Associates currently welcomes patients to both the newly restored Jena St. location in New Orleans, and in our recently renovated Metairie location on Houma Blvd.
Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Edward Lang and New Orleans Podiatry Associates maintained offices in Arabi, Slidell, Metairie and New Orleans.

Dr. Edward Lang, a native New Orleanian, attended Brother Martin High School and the prestigious Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formally OSPM), where he received his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lang continued his education in an intensive preceptorship with a concentration in rear and forefoot surgery and diabetic wound care.

Dr. Lang is the former host of WBYU's popular talk radio show "Footnotes."
