Education Alex is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN). She specializes in weight management and medical nutrition therapy. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and holds a Certificate in Adult Weight Management. Alex completed her Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University and her practical training at Montefiore Medical Center. She holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where she studied human development.
Training ​In addition to counseling patients at Core Nutrition, Alex works at Montefiore Medical Center in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. She previously worked as an inpatient clinical nutritionist at Montefiore, where she treated adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, including obesity, gastrointestinal conditions, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and cancer.
