As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor & Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor, I see clients with anxiety, depression, excessive stress, PTSD and/or relationship/marital issues. In addition, I also see clients who may have an addiction; alcohol, prescription drugs, marijuana and/or opiates. Research indicates about 35-50% of individuals experiencing mental health symptoms may also abuse alcohol & drugs, and 50-75% of individuals with a addictive disorder may also experience mental health symptoms. Even if you may not have a problem with alcohol/drugs, it helps to have a counselor who understands and can treat both mental health & addictions.

I graduated with a BA from Oberlin College and an MA from UNH. During graduate school, I interned at UNH's Health Services; providing mental health & substance abuse counseling. My training includes Portsmouth Regional Hospital's Behavioral Health Unit, & Community Mental Health; mental health & addictions counselor, emergency services & LADC Supervisor.

Mental health & substance abuse are serious health issues. Many individuals do not get help, or their symptoms were not effectively addressed. Effective counseling utilizes evidence-base protocols; including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy & Motivational Interviewing. I also provide LADC evaluations & DWI aftercare counseling.
