Christine Luzuriaga, OD

Dr. Luzuriaga is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry. She joined Eyes of York with several years experience and extensive education and research studies acquired during her residency at the Baltimore VA Hospital. She studied under the area’s most experienced specialists to further her education in complex ocular conditions. Dr. Luzuriaga lends her widespread knowledge to educate fellow colleagues and optometric students to promote understanding for improved diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular diseases. She continues to stay current with her memberships to the American Academy of Optometry, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Optometric Association.

This year was the first time I'd see Dr. Luzuriaga ( I guess she is knew to the area ). She is an absolute sweetheart! She seems to be a clone of Dr. Visco. She is very in tune to my needs, took ample time to explain my condition and make sure I understood what she was talking about, and has an awesome bedside manner. Her exam was extremely thorough and when we were finished she made small talk with me--which shows she looks at me like an actual person, not just more money rolling in. Love this place!

I had Lasik surgery. Not having to hunt for glasses. it is entirely remarkable to see without depending on glasses.
