e have been going to the Village Green for about 2 years. Just one check up for a older cat and an ear issue for the one dog. Recently, the elderly cat Simba became quite disabled in his hindquarters. We took him and and was prescribed a pain killer to try for a few weeks. No success. Next xrays to find some compressed disks and arthritis in the left knee. Changed the meds and were to try for a month. After a couple of weeks, the cat disappeared. A week later, he turned up with stickers stuck all over, muddy and had lost over 2 lbs. Concerned over Simba's immediate condition, I called the vet immediately (3pm) and found the office to be open till 7pm. Requested that we could bring him in for a quick checkup to ensure all was well and he was not dehydrated or anything of immediate concern. After waiting for nearly an hour, we got a call back saying to put him back on meds and they did not have any time to see him. They would see him at their next available appointment the following day.
Anyway, we decided at that time to find a different vet. When asked for the records, we were told we could them in the morning. So proceeded to make a morning appt with a different vet. When we called in the morning for the records from Village Green, we are now told that the vet was too busy to be able to get the records together and we could pick them up late afternoon. So I guess if you don't plan to have any emergencies, this office may work for you.

Dr. Kilar is the best vet I've ever taken my cats to, she's given me hope when I didn't think there was any. Her staff is awsome as well and are always willing to help and never get tired of my phone calls. They go over and above the call of duty. I would recommend everyone to take their pets there.
