Dr. Elliott is a knowledgable and humorous individual. I was rear ended by a drunk driver and Dr. Elliott is helping me get lasting relief from the pain and suffering this accident has coused me.

I'm new to the area of Vista and because of a dislocated kneecap was desperate for a chiropractor, any chiropractor. I asked a neighbor who she goes to, and since he is literally right around the corner and she seems OK, I made an appt. with Dr. Mark Elliott. He was able to take me right away.
As normal procedure, I filled out the paperwork... yadda yadda, have before. But, this time, it was read! After Dr. Elliott adjustment my knee, he actually went over my paperwork with me. I knew I had major back, neck, and shoulder problems from 30 years working as a hairdresser, so telling me I did was not new news to me. What was new, he offered solutions. Not a crack here and there and come back when something else goes out, but an organized program of rehabilitation. I didn't know anything like that existed. Dr Elliott was the 5th chiropractor I've been to, not one of the first 4 ever mentioned the possibility of reversing the damage. I signed up right then and there.
I'm now half way through the rehabilitation program. I can say in all honesty this is the single best thing I have ever done for myself. Every week I feel my spine, my shoulders and neck, my strength, and as a bonus - my mental clarity, get better and better.
Dr. Elliott also works with fibromyalgia sufferers. I had a kinda/sorta diagnose by a physical therapist who could barely touch my lower back without me tearing from the pain. But, I just dismissed it. Dr. Elliott put me through tests to determine that is in fact why I was dizzy, tired, and hurting. So in conjunction with the postural rehabilitation I'm doing the fibromyalgia program as well.
Dr. Elliott isn't for everyone. He's not for ppl who expect the staff to bring them a latte and a cookie and practically do their work for them. Dr. Elliott encourages his patients to be present -- interested in the process of their recovery. He explains his techniques and the reasons behind them. He wants his patients to understand what they are doing and why. He's basically a good natured who is very easy to work with, and knows his stuff inside and out. He's enthusiastic and committed. I feel very blessed to have stumbled into his office that day.
