I have come here several times,. My haircuts were okay but not outstanding. The salon is beautiful, but Johnna is over the top. OMG, I don't think I've ever seen anyone look at themselves so much in the mirror. Honey, get over yourself. She also has an uppity attitude and acts superior. She answered her cell phone several times and kept checking her messages all the while she was doing my hair. Her weirdo sister was there and they were all chatting about being vegan. I felt invisible. I but won't be back, not worth having to put up with all the drama and Johnna's rudeness.

I’ve been to Johnna’s Salon about 4 times now, and while it’s a gorgeous space I will not be going back due to the unprofessional attitude I encountered this weekend. I had an appointment for a Brazilian Blowout on a Saturday (which is when all of my previous appointments were). On Saturday morning, there was a death in my family and I called to cancel the appointment. The response I received was that they would not give me another weekend appointment so that something like “this” doesn’t happen again. In the end, I kept the appointment because I had prepaid through a local “groupon” type program and couldn’t afford to lose the money. In the past, I never cancelled or was even late for an appointment, but I was told that if I wanted another appointment it had to be no later than 3pm Tuesday through Friday. Apparently Johnna doesn’t value the working members of her clientele. Which I suppose makes sense because she runs her own salon like she’s playing with her dolls. She stopped blow drying my hair in the middle of my treatment to leave the salon and buy coffee, she spent a good amount of time chatting over my head with the receptionist about the best recipe for vegan ice cream, and she checked her cell phone about every 3 minutes. You can imagine how frustrating it is for the blow dryer to go on and off while you’re sitting there and your stylist is plugging and unplugging her phone – not the most professional behavior. She also continuously whined about how much the safety mask worn during the treatment was messing up her own hair. So unless you prefer to be the absolute last priority at your salon and enjoy rude and condescending behavior, I cannot recommend that you go to Johnna’s.
