I was very nervous about the idea of back surgery because I'd heard so many negatives from several people ranging from the horrible procedures to very painful recoveries and never ending pain. I decided that I wanted the BEST surgeon available if I was going to proceed with the surgery I so desperately needed. I heard about Dr. Brett from a few of his past patients. They all stated that Dr. Brett knew what he was doing and that they were never concerned about being in good hands. I was told that he wasn't a hugs & touchy surgeon, but I wasn't going in for hugs & touches! I wanted a very experienced surgeon. This is what I found in Dr. Darrell Brett. I was very informed prior to the surgery which really put me at ease. The surgery went very well as expected without a hitch. My recovery has also gone as expected. It's been just over 3 months since my surgery and I am feeling pretty good. I still have some pain that comes from my own over action, ie. doing things I shouldn't be doing yet. The pre-surgery pain and numbness that in my legs no longer exist. I was also very happy with Dr. Brett's staff at NW Spine Surgery. They were always very helpful and kind. I was always assisted quickly when I called and when I came into the office for help or appointments. I'd refer others to Dr. Brett without hesitation. Thank you Dr. Brett for all you did to help me!

Prior to surgery, Dr. Brett was honest, positive, and renewed my hope. Following surgery, I knew he was also correct. I was given a new outlook for my future. I am very thankful and very grateful. Exceptional professionalism in every area.
