Alan worked wonders with my teenage son. Faith in God was discussed ONLY after my son expressed an interest in this. Alan does a great job of not forcing his beliefs on clients. Gave my son lots of tools to combat anxiety.

If you're looking for a good church, visit Alan Apperson's office. But if you're looking for a place where you feel comfortable opening up to work through your issues without judgement..skip this one! Not only is this person a missionary masquerading as a therapist but he's in total denial and actually said he is able to keep his religion separate from his work--this while sitting in front of a giant picture of Jesus and a mold of the Bible with music about "my God is better than all." I go to church a few times a month but I don't like feeling preached at entering a therapist's office. He may be a fine Christian missionary but I have my doubts about a therapist in such denial.
