I was raised on a small farm in South Alabama near Auburn University. My parent's farm provided great exposure to many different animals who always had a variety of ailments. During childhood we had cows, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, and of course, cats and dogs. We were also usually fostering a few injured wildlife. I always loved caring for the animals on the farm and hoped one day I could be a veterinarian. In adulthood, I decided to attend Auburn University, where I received my bachelors of science in Animal Sciences. I then was very proud to be accepted to Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine where I graduated with my doctorate in 2000. I decided to take a job in Atlanta, and I started private practice work the same month I graduated. In 2004 my wife, Lorie, also a veterinarian, and I opened Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic. I have a special interest in emergency cases and critically sick patients. I also enjoy endocrine cases, including thyroid disease, diabetes, and Cushings Disease. I enjoy treating cancer patients as well, using chemotherapy. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, scuba diving, and traveling.

Very impressed with John's Creek Vet. The doctors were very helpful and I was not left waiting in an exam room. All my questions were answered and their prices are fair. I received a free bath card in the mail thanking me for choosing them to care for my dog.

They always get me in and out! They also will see my dogs at the last minute. I appreciate this because I have a busy schedule and tend to wait until the last minute!
